Terumo’s SurFlash® I.V. catheter gives a first flash of blood when you are successfully in the vein and a second flash when the catheter is properly placed. As the only I.V. catheter on the market to provide this technology this aids clinicians in providing a better experience for patients when you don’t need to re-stick or go “fishing” once in the vein.

The SurFlash® feature is possible due to Terumo’s unique grooved needle technology which provides a primary flash in the flash chamber and a secondary flash along the length of the catheter.
